About us

Welcome toLittle Stars.

Preschool & Long Day Care

With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.

When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Little Stars, they're fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

The Little Starsstory.

At Little Stars, we understand how important it is for families to feel safe and confident when choosing childcare. Our centre is known in the community for being warm, stable, and built on genuine word of mouth from local families.

10+

Familiar, trusted faces.

Many of our educators have been with us for over 10 years. Families have trusted us for just as long, and most find us through friends and neighbours.

A home away from home.

We believe every child learns and grows in their own way. Our approach is gentle, holistic, and focused on helping each child feel secure, cared for, and at home, settled enough to explore, ask questions, and follow their interests.

Ready for what's next.

Through play, real-life learning, outdoor exploration, and meaningful routines, children build confidence, self-awareness, and an understanding of the world around them. They leave not only prepared for school, but feeling loved, supported, and ready for the next stage of their young lives.

Choose a roomfor your child.

Our programs were created with our children's needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Each room is named after a native Australian flower.

Lilly Pilly programA home away from home.

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing “home away from home” where babies can explore and make new discoveries. Learning through play is extremely valuable at this age, and our infant program gives babies the skills that serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Preschool3 – 5 years

Waratah programReady to hop, skip and jump into school.

Activities that help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities and hands-on learning, children work on early literacy, maths, science and social studies, with a healthy dose of running, jumping and dancing. Small groups, independent play and whole-group activities build the skills they need for primary school.
